Pressed from the same sheath as the plates. Will not bend in a hot bowl the way a paper spoon does. Heat-pressing in Narsingdi, Bangladesh, by the Meghna Leaf Press. Because it is made by hand from a plant rather than moulded from a compound, small differences in colour, weave and dimension are normal and are not faults. Home compostable in 60-90 days.
