Coiled from monsoon-cut hogla over about nine hours, with a rolled rim that holds its shape under weight. Sized for a season of throws or a family's laundry. Coil-basketry in Bagerhat, Bangladesh, by the Sundarban Hogla Collective. Because it is made by hand from a plant rather than moulded from a compound, small differences in colour, weave and dimension are normal and are not faults. Fully compostable. Cut into pieces to speed breakdown.
