A raised cane ring for a heavy casserole, with enough airflow underneath to stop condensation. Hand-weaving in Sylhet, Bangladesh, by the Surma Cane Workshop. Because it is made by hand from a plant rather than moulded from a compound, small differences in colour, weave and dimension are normal and are not faults. Compostable. Untreated, unlacquered.
