Dense coiled jute that will take a pan straight off the hob without scorching through to the table. Hand-weaving in Faridpur, Bangladesh, by the Padma Jute Weavers' Society. Because it is made by hand from a plant rather than moulded from a compound, small differences in colour, weave and dimension are normal and are not faults. Home compostable in 6-12 months once fittings are removed.
