A flat coiled disc with a contrast spiral, hung on a hidden jute loop. Reads as texture rather than pattern from across a room. Coil-basketry in Bagerhat, Bangladesh, by the Sundarban Hogla Collective. Because it is made by hand from a plant rather than moulded from a compound, small differences in colour, weave and dimension are normal and are not faults. Fully compostable. Cut into pieces to speed breakdown.
